If you’ve been doing your homework like a good student, you’d know that The Dean’s Prerequisite Picks of the Week have enabled the CollegeStock Community to make some honorable profits: $VKNG (+3433%), $ALKN (+194%), $UNDT (+103%), $AMNP (+96%), $MCLN (+94%), $ASFX (+81%) and $GRDO (+78%)—to name a few.
Let’s see what these Prerequisite Picks of the Week can do for the CollegeStock Community:
$RTGV
RTG Ventures, Inc. (OTC: RTGV.OB), through New Media Television, Inc. (NMTV), is an online media and electronic payment systems provider. Two weeks ago, $RTGV announced the company is moving closer to acquiring and becomes NMTV, a business expected to rake in more than $50 million but its third year of operation. The Dean believes the anticipation of this merger could bring $RTGV some action this week.
$ENTB
Entest Biomedical, Inc. (OTC: ENTB.OB) is developing stem cell therapy treatments for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, immuno-cancer therapies, testing procedures for diabetes and other stem cell research applications. $ENTB could be heading for patented profits and The Dean thinks Friday’s dip (19.61%) gives the stock more of an appeal.
$POPN
Pop N Go Inc. (OTC: POPN.PK) produces a unique hot air popcorn machine capable of delivering single servings to patrons watching while they wait. $POPN recently shipped one of their patented popcorn on-demand vending machines to Blockbuster (NYSE: BBI) for product testing. The Dean believes $POPN‘s chances to be pop-up in more than 7,000 retail stores could make the stock a blockbuster this week.
$TSEM
Tower Semiconductor Ltd. (NASDAQ: TSEM) operates as a global foundry company and it’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Jazz Semiconductor, Inc., specializes in analog-intensive mixed signal (AIMS) foundry solutions. On Wednesday, $TSEM announced it will be presenting at the Needham Growth Conference and at the Sidoti & Company First Meeting in early January 2010.
$MPPC
MyPhotopipe.com (OTC: MPPC.PK) provides a Web 2.0 platform which processes, hosts and sells photos. Last week, $MPPC announced record sales for November 2009, its third consecutive month of record sales. $MPPC also reported plans to increase shareholder and market awareness efforts. For a stock trading on the Pink Sheets, The Dean believes this could be done through a number of promotional, communications and investor awareness methods. Either way, The Dean suggests all of his students to do their homework on, instead of taking pictures of, $MPPC.
