The Dean’s Daily Honor Roll: $SRNG, $DPAC and $HALBE

In an effort to bring the CollegeStock Community fresh content about the small cap markets and world of penny stocks, The Dean is kicking off The Dean’s Daily Honor Roll of picks on the move.
$SRNG
Shelron Group, Inc. (OTC: SRNG.OB) develops and markets e-commerce advertising and comparative shopping software products in the United States. $SRNG closed the day 158% in the green on no news and less than 20,000 shares worth of volume.
$DPAC
DPAC Technologies Corporation (OTC: DPAC.OB) designs, manufactures and sells device connectivity and device networking solutions. Despite The Dean’s inability to connect the dots on this penny stock, $DPAC moved as much as 229%, before closing the day with a gain of 141%.
$HALBE
Halberd Corporation (OTC: HALBE.OB), doing business as SellMyBusinessNow.com, provides a web portal for business people to find, buy and (here’s a shocker) sell businesses, real estate and equipment. Although $HALBE hasn’t had any news since the company revamped its website in September, The Dean watched $HALBE make an 80% run today.
$HMBT
HemoBioTech (OTC: HMBT.OB) researches and develops human blood substitute technology licensed from Texas Tech University Health Service Center. $HMBT made The Dean’s List for the day because the biotech stock moved more than 110% and closed the day with a gain of 71%.
$BWAV
Betawave Corporation (OTC: BWAV.OB) delivers advertising and content to various audiences through innovative ad formats. Today, $BWAV was successful in getting The Dean’s attention because the stock surfed a volume wave 4 times its 3 month average and closed the day 60% in the green—and that’s certainly honorable enough to make The Dean’s Honor Roll.
And The Dean just wouldn’t be The Dean, if he didn’t point out a stock that fell flat on its face:
$HIPCF
The Dean and investors can only assume $HIPCF is an energy or exploration company of some sort but, with no website or news, and seriously weak financials, $HIPCF lost 98% and is clearly just not hip at all.
Hang your head low $HIPCF and make your way to the corner to find a funny-looking, cone-shaped hat with your name on it because you’re officially The Dean’s Dunce of the Day!
