Dear Students

The Dean taught the CollegeStock Community about Sunesis Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: SNSS) as part of The Dean’s Prerequisite Picks of the Week. $SNSS closed at $1.72 on Friday afternoon and was up more than 30% in pre-market trading, before opening the day up 24% at $2.14.

$SNSS is focused on the development and commercialization of new cancer therapies, including the company’s Voreloxin treatment for leukemia and platinum-resistant ovarian cancer.

The Dean believes $SNSS could be moving beyond golden and become a platinum pharma stock pick because the company is currently involved in Phase 1b/2 and Phase 2 clinical trials for their Voreloxin treatment.

The Dean has done his homework on $SNSS‘ sunny story and found that Voreloxin has proven effective against a variety of tumor types and has the potential to combine with other anticancer agents for the treatment of both advanced and earlier stage disease.

The Dean thinks $SNSS has plenty of Ivy League potential, especially because this company is on the radar of big name small cap stock resources and penny stock newsletters. In less than a week, The Dean has seen $SNSS in various newsletters, alerts and volume reports from PennyInvest.com, HotOTC.com, CoolPennyStocks.com, StockEgg.com, OTCPicks.com, StockPreacher.com, EmergingStockReport.com, SkymarkResearch.com and even Mr. Timothy Sykes claimed “I look forward to shorting it when the chart pattern is proper” on Friday afternoon.

Today, $SNSS has already seen more than 12 million shares in volume and is trading above $2.00. The Dean believes $SNSS is certainly One to Watch this week.

Happy Trading, The Dean
