Honor Roll Stocks: $CSWG, $HDNG and $OFI

$CSWG
China Swine Genetics, Inc. (OTC: CSWG.OB) engages in breeding and raising commercial hogs and piglets, and distributes them to the slaughter facilities and pork distributors in the People’s Republic of China. This pig of a penny stock closed at $3.16 yesterday and made its way to the feeding trough, eating up 186.39%.
$HDNG
Hardinge Inc. (NASDAQ: HDNG) designs, manufactures, and distributes computer-numerically controlled cutting lathes, machining centers, grinding machines, collets, chucks, index fixtures, and other industrial products. This morning, Industrias Romi S.A. (Bovespa: ROMI3), a leading global manufacturer of machine tools, announced that it has submitted an all-cash offer to the Board of Directors of $HDNG to acquire all of the outstanding shares of the company for $8.00 per share. With this exciting news, $HDNG traded more than 50 times its 3 month volume and gained 47.63%, closing the day at $8.09.
$OFI
Overhill Farms, Inc. (AMEX: OFI) manufactures prepared frozen food products for branded retail, private label, foodservice, and airline customers. Its product lines include entrees, plated meals, bulk-packed meal components, pastas, soups, sauces, poultry, meat and fish specialties, and organic and vegetarian offerings. Today, $OFI reported net income of $3.1 million, or $0.19 per common share, on net revenues of $56.2 million for the first fiscal quarter of 2010. As a result, $OFI gained a lot more than $0.19, trading 548,812 shares, and gained 27.85% today.
And although this Dunce may have made shareholders sick to their stomachs, they certainly weren’t seeing any green today:
$NENA
Neenah Enterprises, Inc. (OTC: NENA.OB) manufactures and sells gray and ductile iron castings and forged components to industrial and municipal customers in the United States and internationally. After market close yesterday, $NENA announced the filing of Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Today, $NENA fell more than 54% and The Dean suspects this Dunce is looking for a nice dark manhole to hide in.
