$BSTK: Strike Back Without the Zap

Dear Students

The Dean has taught the CollegeStock Community that many police agencies are looking for effective non-lethal weapons to be used in the line of duty and The Dean has recently discovered that there’s a clear distinction between “non-lethal” and “less than lethal.” The main difference, of course, is that products such as $BSTK’s many tactical illumination products would not lead to death, costly lawsuits, or the suspension and termination of police officers.

The Dean came across an article titled “Death raises questions about taser safety” and The Dean’s curious why it’s taken more than 400 deaths in the United States to question the safety of devices which have continuously proven to be more lethal than “non-lethal.”

This whole controversy baffles The Dean because the article even questions, “Just how safe are tasers, in the hands of police or anyone else?” Long-time taser advocate and Michigan House Representative Rick Jones seems to admit that he’s aware that tasers have a lethal history, “I wouldn’t call it a non-lethal weapon, I would call it a less than lethal weapon.”

Representative Jones goes on to say that “using a taser is much safer than striking somebody with a baton.” But, The Dean thinks this is also interesting because true “non-lethal” and “less than lethal” weapons, such as batons made from flexible composite materials and disorienting lights, can already be found in $BSTK’s workshop and could be flying off shelves this Christmas.

Happy Trading, The Dean
