Dear Students

Following several reports that federal health officials are concerned that traveling, family get-togethers and holiday shopping could increase swine flu cases around the country, The Dean taught the CollegeStock Community that Swine Flu Frenzy Could Sweep the Nation.

Now, Hanukkah is here and Christmas is nearly a week away and “What’s that boy?” There’s yet another swine flu product that’s been given EMERGENCY approval by the FDA?

Using PCR (polymerase chain reaction) technology, DxNA‘s GeneSTAT product tests for H1N1 in 50 minutes. Although The Dean believes such emergency efforts are necessary to slow and prevent the spread of swine flu, PCR testing has only proven to be 40% to 69% accurate.

The same press release claims that the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has recommended starting antiviral treatments for “even suspected cases [of H1N1] without confirmation.” The Dean also noticed that the release places this product on a pedestal, calling it “fast” and “easy to use.” Additionally, the GeneSTAT “lab in a box” doesn’t require a trained technician or pathologist.

Well students, what do you know, a product that’s “fast,” “easy to use,” “cheaper” and doesn’t require special training just received emergency FDA approval. The Dean believes this makes $AVIC‘s Instant Detect even SEXIER (Barely Legal Secret #3) than before!

A quick look at the Instant Detect website and anyone could learn that $AVIC‘s product is

  • handheld
  • highly accurate (opposed to 40% to 69%)
  • requires small volume samples
  • designed to work in fields (hospitals, clinics, malls, schools, airports, name it)
  • and doesn’t require special training

DxNA’s product was also modified to test for H1N1 instead of Avian Flu, whereas $AVIC‘s Instant Detect can test for H1N1, West Nile Virus, dengue, malaria and encephalitis.

It’s clear to The Dean that $AVIC‘s product is comparable and competitive, and could be a HOT ticket for a profitable sleigh ride.

Happy Trading, The Dean
