Dear Students

For years, investors have been looking for that prized opportunity to “Buy Low, Sell High” and The Dean knows that the potential to profit BIG on penny stocks, and stocks in general, using this theory is what draws millions of investors to the small cap markets.

In most cases, “getting in low” or “before the crowds” might be the only way to make the type of profits individuals are looking for. But, even if you do in fact buy in low, what should you consider high and when should you sell? The Dean thinks this is always a matter of what your risk tolerance is like and how much you’re looking to gain.

As an experienced investor, day trader, or even a rookie looking to strike it rich on risky small cap stocks, everyone must understand that fear and greed drive the stock market. A lack of news, for example, can create fear and sell-offs, while greed can keep shareholders holding on too long. But, at the same time, sell-offs created by that same fear can drive the price of a stock down, opening doors for investors who are willing to take a risk and reap the rewards everyone’s looking for.

Certainly, The Dean’s aware that the “Buy Low, Sell High” strategy is a basic economic concept, which can be applied to real estate, jewelry, antique automobiles and virtually anything that has the potential to increase in value, but The Dean knows that the stock market is the best and easiest way to make money.

In The Dean’s opinion, the past two years have created insane opportunities for seasoned and new investors alike and the fear-greed cycle will continue to create opportunities for individuals to invest in, and profit from, the same stocks numerous times.

In 2009, The Dean of Penny Stocks has brought the CollegeStock Community a number of investment opportunities and 2010 is sure to bring plenty more—it’s always just a matter of an individual’s tolerance for loss, desire to win, and appetite for profits.

Happy Trading, The Dean
